Biodiversity conservation activities

Founded a non-profit organization called Biodiversity Conservation and Research Trust (BCRT) in India (2001-present) to protect and preserve forest ecosystems. BCRT is located at Anuganalu, a village located at the foot of global biodiversity hotspots in Hassan District of Karnataka State. BCRT had successfully converted barren rocky area into forest ecosystem within five years and spreading afforestation activities across India (http://www.bcrt.org/index.htm). BCRT work has been recognized as a model system to sustain forest-rain-agriculture ecosystem for future generation in India.
